This elaborate ruse gives the buyer a false sense of security and professionalism. As the scam progresses, the unsuspecting victim is prompted to pay for the pet’s transportation and other related fees. However, once the payment is transferred, the scammer vanishes without a trace, and the eagerly anticipated pet never materializes, leaving the victim both heartbroken and financially depleted.
